The Optimist Mission

The Optimists Mission is to develop optimism as a philosophy of life utilizing the tenets of the Optimist Creed. To promote an active interest in good government and civic affairs, inspire respect for law, and friendship among all people. To aid, and encourage the development of youth, and to give of one's self in service to other's in our communities.

Active Membership:

Appropriate for individuals who are available to attend regular meetings, and participate in some of the Club's projects.

Annual Membership Fee $100.00

Friend of Optimists:

Appropriate for Business's, Organizations, Professionals , and Busy Individuals who do not have time to attend meetings. Become a Friend of Optimists, and help us to "Bring out the Best in Kids" in our Communities, and support The Optimist Club Del Mar - Solana Beach.

Friends of Optimists have all the rights, and privileges of a regular Optimist Member except voting rights. Membership includes four issues of The Optimist magazine annually, and a Plaque recognizing your membership.
